Children of the Kiln's education sponsorship program

The board and members of Umbrella Australia are extremely proud to announce our partnership with The Global Fairness Initiative (GFI), a Washington DC based International organisation.

Our program aptly named the ‘Children of the kilns education sponsorship program’ supports the current GFI and Better Bricks Nepal ‘Bridging Schools Program (BSP) which provides educational structure to children who are living in extreme poverty in the brick kiln factories of Nepal.

Without education many of these children face the generational practice of bonded labour, many are trafficked, abused and exposed to dangerous working conditions. Please support us in giving these children an opportunity and build a public awareness to the issue of child bonded labour.

To sponsor one of these kids your tax deductable donation of $20 a month - 4 cups of coffee! will give a child an education - a uniform - a book - a cooked meal and a future.

The BSP curriculum is designed to work within the seasonal brick-making calendar and still link up to the national education system’s schedule in partnership with Nepal’s Ministry of Education and Social Welfare Council.

As a sponsor you will not meet your child…….This is how is should be! You will however be given updates on the program.

Please consider becoming a sponsor! To register click on: Children of the kilns education sponsorship program’ scroll down the page to the registration tab.

As with all our programs !00% of your donation goes directly to the children.

If you are unable to sponsor, we ask if you can share this message to all your contacts….we really need to get it out there and get some support….build a community….help some kids who currently don’t have a future.

Namaste
